CC Richardson, MSW, LSW
Ms. Richardson graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Criminology, Psychology, and Sociology from Capital University in 2019 and her master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2021. She received her social work license (LSW) in the state of Ohio in the same year. She is currently working towards her independent license under the supervision of Dr. Beth McCreary. During her graduate training, Ms. Richardson worked with a variety of conditions as a co-facilitator at an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for young adults with co-occurring mental health conditions and substance use at Harding Hospital. In this program, she provided cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation with roots in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to young adults aged 18-24.
At ABHS, Ms. Richardson specializes in working with OCD and anxiety-related conditions, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias. She provides CBT, including exposure and response prevention, and incorporates other treatment methods as appropriate for individual client needs. In addition to working with anxiety-related conditions, she is also comfortable addressing other problems clients may be facing, including general life stress, depression, and mild substance use conditions. Ms. Richardson works collaboratively with clients to meet their treatment goals and utilize their individual strengths.
