Gabby Silone, LPCC
Ms. Silone received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Dayton and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Ohio State University. She is credentialed as a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. She has experience treating a variety of mental health concerns, and has specific clinical interest in helping those with anxiety and OCD. Her additional interests include working with clients experiencing interpersonal/relationship difficulty and low self-esteem.
Ms. Silone works from an integrative approach, drawing largely from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Narrative Therapy. Her style is focused on treating each client as a whole person, with a wide variety of experiences and identities. She focuses on building warm and genuine relationships with clients, identifying their unique strengths. She views counseling as a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. Ms. Silone helps clients to identify their “stuck” points and make meaningful change.
